Niki Petersen At the age of 31, I have been on an amazing adventure with God for years now. But navigating God’s plan and purpose has not always been easy. After coming to Christ as a teenager God has continually revealed giftings and abilities that I didn’t believe I had. Through Christ I have had the opportunity to sing, act, teach, lead, and pray. I could do none of these things on my own, but God has stretched me every step of the way and continues to draw me (kicking and screaming) from my comfort zone. I am privileged to be the Children’s Coordinator at Gateway Church. This has been my first experience in Kids Ministry and I have been stretched at every turn. God is good and He has given me everything that I have needed to accomplish His plan and will. The kids at Gateway are awesome and they make Sunday mornings a blast. I am also blessed to have an amazing team of parents that are called of Christ to work with kids. I am honored and overwhelmed that God has entrusted the kids of Gateway to me. I pray that I will be all that God wants me to be in their lives. I believe that God has amazing things planned for the children of Gateway Church. My husband Daniel and my kids Connor (9) and Abby (6) keep my life filled with laughter and craziness. It is never dull at our house and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Wow, I guess I’m not as far outside my comfort zone as I thought because just like my home, Gateway Kids is filled with lots of laughter and craziness!! God is good!
