Proverbs 27:17 says, “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” A lot of men are “dull” because they isolate themselves. Men have to carry a lot of responsibility but take on far too much of it by themselves. Life is a team sport and more men would live a healthier life if they joined a team!

Gateway Men’s Ministry foundational purpose is to provide settings where men can forge relationships that will stand the strain of work and home pressures. We get together in the spring and fall for a 6-8 week Bible Study where we meet one night a week. This is new for a lot of men and they are surprised on how much they enjoy praying with one another at the end of each evening. Ecclesiastes 4:12 proves true for them, “Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”

Regularly we get together to do two of guy’s most enjoyable activities, eat and compete! From corn hole to golf it doesn’t seem to matter, good food, great friends and belly laughs bring out the best in all of us!
